HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment, including air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems. Install, maintain, modify, and service units, air handlers, pumps, motors, valves, and control devices. Perform routine preventative maintenance and assist with system commissioning to ensure new installations operate as intended. Respond to customer service calls and complete required documentation and service records. Adhere to safety practices, participate in toolbox talks, and wear appropriate PPE. This journeyman-level role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to walk, bend, climb, sit, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hand and arm dexterity to operate tools and equipment
- Ability to work in indoor spaces, outdoor areas, construction sites, and rough terrain
- Ability to work overtime as needed and participate in an on-call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC experience
- HVAC Journeyman's license
- EPA Universal Certification
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
