HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot single and three-phase installations, check heating and cooling equipment for correct installation, and diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment to locate breakdowns. Assess customer needs, offer appropriate warranty and product service options, and create a database of leads from retail and new construction. Provide constant feedback on competition standings and build relationships with vendor partners to ensure current information availability. Perform final stage checks, corrections, and scheduled calls while maintaining a clean motor vehicle record. Work on-call schedules with long hours, lifting up to 30 pounds and accessing attics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year minimum residential field experience
- Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues
- Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations
- EPA Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Must be able to Pass drug Screen
- Must have reliable HVAC tools
- Must be able to lift to 30 pounds at times
- Able to access In and out of attics
- Working On call schedules and long hours
