Job Summary
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Daily duties include troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC systems, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, installing equipment upgrades, explaining repair options to homeowners, maintaining accurate service records, mentoring junior technicians when needed, and ensuring work complies with safety standards and local codes. The role requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and various outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service experience
- EPA Certification required (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow professionally
- Comfortable using mobile technology and service software
