Job Summary
Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, boilers, chillers, and AHUs while diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and control issues. Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshoot building automation systems, and read blueprints to identify deficiencies. Perform detailed inspections, complete quality control reviews, and accurately document service activities. Respond to emergency calls to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local codes. Communicate technical findings with facility managers and engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Hold and retain relevant H/CFC universal license
- Experience with RTU's, Boilers, MAU's, AHU's, Fans, Pumps, Cooling Towers, VAV/FPB's. Automation Systems, Chillers
- Understanding of Hydronic systems and DX cooling circuits and components
- Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools
- Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects
