Job Summary
Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, boilers, chillers, and AHUs. Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in large-scale equipment while reading blueprints and wiring diagrams. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting building automation systems, and performing detailed inspections to identify deficiencies. Complete quality control reviews on service work, accurately document activities, and respond to emergency calls to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local codes while communicating findings to facility managers.
Required Qualifications
- Hold and retain relevant H/CFC universal license
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Commercial RTU's, Boilers, MAU's, AHU's, Fans, Pumps, Cooling Towers, VAV/FPB's, Automation Systems, Chillers
- Understanding of Hydronic systems and DX cooling circuits and components
- Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools
- Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects
