Job Summary
An HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting heating and air conditioning systems while maintaining high-quality customer service. The role includes responding to residential service calls, performing installations and preventive maintenance, and managing resources effectively. Candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma. Certifications such as EPA or NATE are advantageous. This position is non-commissioned and offers a salary range of $28 to $35 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC service (diagnostic and troubleshooting) related experience or combined years of professional residential field work and HVAC service training, repairs, or installations
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Customer focused and able to present in a positive manner, effectively solving customers’ problems
- Flexibility to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime
Desired Qualifications
- EPA, NATE or other equivalent HVAC certificates
