Job Summary
HVAC Service Technician responsible for field service on HVAC, boiler, and burner equipment, including installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance; manage truck/workflow and complete paperwork such as daily time reporting, service reports, and hazard analyses; assist Sales with scope of labor and follow-up on repairs or improvements; provide on-site supervision and training to team members; maintain state licenses and participate in ongoing training; position may involve out-of-town, weekend, holiday, and after-hours work on a rotating on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalence
- Universal Refrigerant Certification
- Three (3) to five (5) years of documentable mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
- Must be able to read/write/spell/calculate in English
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HVAC systems including boilers, burners, chillers, and related equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- On-call availability and willingness to work after hours
- Ability to manage and organize job paperwork and reporting
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift and handle equipment as required
