Job Summary

HVAC Service Technician responsible for field service on HVAC, boiler, and burner equipment, including installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance; manage truck/workflow and complete paperwork such as daily time reporting, service reports, and hazard analyses; assist Sales with scope of labor and follow-up on repairs or improvements; provide on-site supervision and training to team members; maintain state licenses and participate in ongoing training; position may involve out-of-town, weekend, holiday, and after-hours work on a rotating on-call schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalence
  • Universal Refrigerant Certification
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of documentable mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
  • Must be able to read/write/spell/calculate in English
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with HVAC systems including boilers, burners, chillers, and related equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • On-call availability and willingness to work after hours
  • Ability to manage and organize job paperwork and reporting
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to lift and handle equipment as required
