Job Summary
HVAC Service Technician responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Diagnoses system issues, performs routine and emergency repairs, and ensures systems operate safely and efficiently. Interacts with customers to explain problems and solutions, adheres to safety regulations, and maintains detailed service records. Duties include cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems, diagnosing residential HVAC performance, and providing expert HVAC solutions with professional recommendations. Requires strong technical skills, customer service focus, EPA certification, and 3-5+ years of experience; physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and working in varied environments.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Certification is required
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- 3-5+ years HVAC experience, preferably residential
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Exceptional customer service and ability to address diverse client needs
- Interacting professionally with individuals at all organizational levels
- Flexible and innovative team player, able to adapt to dynamic environments
- Ability to drive
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Working in indoor/outdoor environments including attics and crawlspaces
- Ability to stand, walk and sit, and communicate effectively
- Advertised pay range is base pay plus SPIFFS/Commissions earned at location
