Job Summary
Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant components; perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance; communicate effectively with clients, ensuring understanding of system operation and any necessary maintenance; provide detailed, multi-option quotes and discuss repair or upgrade choices; identify opportunities to offer additional services, upgrades, or preventative maintenance; consistently meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, or monthly performance goals; fulfill on-call duties according to the department schedule; adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards when working with HVAC equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC service
- Valid EPA Certification required
- Commercial HVAC experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components and installations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Valid driver's license
- Must meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) eligibility requirements
