Job Summary
Service and repair hot air, boiler, water heating, A/C, and heat pump systems while troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting HVAC issues. Use and maintain modern industry tools, provide professional customer service, and collect payments as needed. Drive safely with a company vehicle, follow all safety and compliance policies, and maintain accurate paperwork. Participate in the on-call schedule, collaborate with coworkers and sales specialists, and stay current through provided training and certifications. Work independently and as part of a team to solve comfort problems impacting families, climbing ladders and working in attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- EPA refrigerant certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year — company provided)
- CETP certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year — company provided)
- Physical ability to: Climb ladders/stairs and work in attics, basements, crawl spaces
- Physical ability to: Maneuver up to 200 lbs. with equipment or team lift
- Physical ability to: Work outdoors in varying conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: 2+ years of HVAC service experience or completion of an HVAC Apprenticeship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professionalism under pressure and solid communication skills
- Comfort using technology, including tablets and mobile apps, to complete jobs efficiently
