Job Summary
HVAC Manager/Service Tech on national accounts responsible for servicing HVAC equipment on customer sites, diagnosing and repairing units using hand-tools, performing preventative maintenance and site surveys, coordinating on-site work, quoting jobs, documenting work and providing technical support to customers. Must be able to read blueprints/engineering specs, manage parts and timelines, and communicate findings to customers and operations; represents the company in customer interactions and ensures customer satisfaction. Locations include Birmingham, AL with on-site, in-person responsibilities. Benefits include Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Paid Vacations, and a 401(k) plan.
Required Qualifications
- Experience servicing HVAC equipment on commercial or industrial sites
- Proficiency with hand-tools and reading blueprints or engineering specifications
- Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC systems on customer sites
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, and modifications as requested by customers
- Capable of quoting jobs and communicating findings to customers/operations
- Document work and maintain accurate files and reports
- Provide technical support to customers and represent the company on-site
- Ability to determine parts to order and manage job timelines
- Read product specifications and stay current with product knowledge
