Job Summary
HVAC Service Technician position focusing on servicing HVAC equipment for national accounts at customer sites. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing units using hand-tools per blueprints/specifications, performing preventative maintenance, site surveys, and coordinating on-site work; preparing for installations/repairs by assessing building layouts and gathering materials; documenting time, parts, labor, and costs; providing technical support to customers and serving as a direct customer contact; and flexible travel with some overnight stays and overtime/weekends as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience servicing HVAC systems on-site
- Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC units using hand-tools and reading blueprints/engineering specifications
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, site surveys, and future modifications as requested
- Ability to coordinate on-site work, gather materials, and prepare for installations/repairs
- Strong documentation skills for time, parts, labor, and cost data
- Customer-facing role with direct contact and service delivery responsibilities
- Willingness to travel with some overnight travel; overtime/weekends as necessary
