Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems while executing preventive maintenance, start-ups, and control calibrations. Safely work at heights and in mechanical spaces, manage truck stock and tools, and communicate clearly with customers. Complete monthly vehicle inspections, participate in on-call rotation for after-hours tickets, and maintain documentation. Requires EPA Universal certification, valid driver's license, and mechanical aptitude. Competitive pay scales from $25 to $65/hour with employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and 401K match. Opportunity for progression through employer-sponsored apprenticeship.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Active EPA Universal certification
- Valid driver's license; clean driving record
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Able to climb/balance on ladders; work in elevated locations
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training preferred
- Commercial refrigeration service experience
- BAS/DDC exposure; light controls troubleshooting
- OEM/start-up certifications; brazing and recovery proficiency
- Tablet/CMMS work order experience
