Job Summary
Perform maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, and replacing filters. Diagnose, repair, and replace defective components for rooftop units, chillers, and boilers while analyzing trend data to prevent breakdowns. Lead rebuilds and retrofits by demonstrating steps to Levels I and II technicians. Record billing, inventory, and timecards; interact with customers to provide status updates. Maintain certifications and uphold safety policies. Rotational emergency call support required with some overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility
- 7+ related experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical school with HVAC certificate
- Valid Driver's License
- acceptable driving record
- Rotational Emergency Call Support
- Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial HVAC Industry Experience
- Previous experience in mentoring less experienced technicians
- OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire
