Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers. Execute tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and inspecting systems to prevent breakdowns. Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations and record billing, inventory, and timecard reports. Provide status updates to customers and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Participate in regional training modules and maintain all required certifications while adhering to OSHA and company safety policies. Rotational emergency call support is required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Rotational Emergency Call Support as required
- Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial HVAC Industry Experience
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification
- OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (Daikin provides this training during onboarding process)
- Current first aid / CPR card
