Job Summary
Perform maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers by cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating components. Diagnose and repair defective equipment, fan coils, and water source heat pumps while maintaining logs and reporting billing and inventory data. Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations and participate in regional training to develop troubleshooting skills. Inspect systems to prevent breakdowns, apply warranty services, and explain technical details to customers. Adhere to OSHA safety policies and maintain a clean work area while supporting rotational emergency call support.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Rotational Emergency Call Support as required
- Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial HVAC Industry Experience
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification
- OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (Daikin provides this training during onboarding process)
- Current first aid / CPR card
