Job Summary
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Install, repair, or replace components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork. Collaborate with team members to coordinate schedules and prioritize service calls. Communicate professionally with customers to address concerns and explain repair options. Accurately document service activities, equipment status, and parts used. Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to enhance technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Valid HVAC technician license/certification.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
