HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
Service all major HVAC equipment types through retrofit, repair, and preventative maintenance at customer sites. Diagnose and fix systems using hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications while representing the company as a direct customer contact. Perform site surveys, coordinate on-site work, and determine parts orders to ensure timely repairs. Maintain vehicles, equipment, and service manuals; document daily time, progress, and job files. Provide technical support and re-training to customers. Requires valid Virginia Journeyman license, EPA certification, and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and regular overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from a Technical / Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
- eight (8) years related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- EPA Certification
- HVAC Journeyman license in Virginia
Desired Qualifications
- Additional license; Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.
