Job Summary
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will repair, install, maintain, and adjust HVAC equipment, perform routine preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot defective equipment. You will respond to work order requests in a timely manner and must adhere to safety policies. The role requires a valid driver's license and at least 3 years of HVAC service experience, along with the ability to read wiring diagrams and be familiar with diverse equipment and troubleshooting methods. Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and advanced customer service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record that meets company standards
- 3+ Years as a Service Technician in HVAC
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience making repair and replace decisions to forward to sales team
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medium to large tonnage commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
- Knowledge of basic commercial building systems operations
Desired Qualifications
- Specialty knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, commercial refrigeration, or boilers are a plus
- Advanced customer service skills
