Job Summary
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and identify potential problems. Install, repair, or replace components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork. Collaborate with team members to coordinate schedules and efficiently complete service calls. Communicate with customers professionally, explaining repair options and recommending improvements. Accurately document service activities, including equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent. Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of residential HVAC systems
- Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time/workload
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
