Job Summary
Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, present pricing options to customers, and complete repairs, installs, and maintenance per industry standards. Ensure customer satisfaction, collect payments, and maintain service vehicles, tools, and truck inventory. Complete required paperwork and report job details after each call while promoting service agreements and equipment upgrades. Follow warranty, quality, and performance guidelines, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years' Service Technician experience
- EPA 608 Certification
- Valid driver's license; clean driving
- Lift and carry compressors up to 5-ton capacity
- Strong troubleshooting and schematic-reading skills
- Brazing/soldering/welding experience
- Own standard technician tools
- Professional appearance
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift to 50 lbs. (occasionally more)
- Frequent standing, walking, talking, and the use of vision to read technical information
