Job Summary
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and installations for HVAC systems up to 150 tons, including DX equipment, packaged AC units, water source heat pumps, and gas-fired heating systems. Diagnose faulty equipment, adjust valves and controls to maintain proper fluid and pressure levels, and complete preventative maintenance such as cleaning coils and ductwork. Conduct site evaluations, troubleshoot issues, and provide startup services for newly installed commercial equipment while interacting with customers for technical support and training. Maintain communication with dispatchers, review building layouts, coordinate materials, and document work progress including time and parts. Manage vehicle and equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC field experience
- Associate degree or equivalent in HVAC, or related experience
- EPA Universal Technician Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and more when needed
- Must be able to work in outdoor conditions and mechanical rooms
- Ability to stand, kneel, crawl, and climb frequently
