Job Summary
Service heating, cooling, and boiler systems by performing repairs, overhauls, start-ups, and preventative maintenance on commercial and residential units. Diagnose issues using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications while coordinating on-site materials and examining building layouts. Maintain vehicles, document job paperwork, and provide technical support to customers. Work in varying temperatures and confined spaces, lifting up to 50 lbs and using power tools, with availability for multiple job sites. 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience required; Journeyman/Master certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC industry or residential field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
- Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of basic electricity, electrical and control systems
- Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
- Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC Journeyman/Master certification
- Prior military experience
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
