HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform thorough HVAC inspections using health and safety checklists, complete service correctly the first time, and communicate clearly with customers via written option sheets and visual reports. Execute proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, document all services, collect fees, and submit records promptly while coordinating part orders and preparing for daily service calls. Support apprentices and fellow technicians with troubleshooting, keep the company truck stocked, and protect customers' homes by leaving areas cleaner than found. Report safety concerns and facilitate rescheduling when service cannot be completed on the initial visit.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with no more than 4 points
- Must pass drug test and background check
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be approved by company's insurance carrier to drive
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to interpret manuals, plans, and blueprints
- Proficient with tablets, smartphones, and GPS navigation
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC experience preferred (waived with manager approval)
