Job Summary
Perform maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers by cleaning coils, replacing filters, and repairing defective components. Diagnose and repair wiring issues while maintaining and inspecting systems to prevent unexpected breakdowns. Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations and record billing, inventory, and timecard reports accurately. Interact with customers to provide status updates and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Maintain all required certifications, adhere to OSHA safety policies, and participate in regional training modules to develop new skill sets.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree or technical school
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC or related industry
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
- Rotational Emergency Call Support availability as required
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC certification (preferred)
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification (preferred)
- OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
- Current first aid / CPR card (preferred)
