Job Summary
HVAC Service Tech responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, troubleshooting to identify root causes, implementing system upgrades for performance and energy efficiency, and maintaining accurate service documentation. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints/schematics/technical manuals, proficiency with HVAC diagnostic tools, excellent customer service and communication skills, adherence to safety protocols, willingness to participate in ongoing training, and the flexibility to work in various conditions including indoors/outdoors and with odd hours during peak seasons.
