Job Summary
Consult clients on indoor air quality and system performance, then diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to recommend upgrades or replacements. Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, filter changes, and tune-ups while ensuring all work adheres to safety and industry regulations. Maintain accurate service records documenting repairs and recommendations, and communicate solutions effectively to residential customers. Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned jobs efficiently across residential sites, operating hand and power tools in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, service and repair
- EPA certification
- Journeyman's license
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigerants
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- Technical school
- HVAC certification
- Ability to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members
- Experience operating hand and power tools and vehicles
