Job Summary
Plan, execute, and finalize HVAC projects by sourcing materials, managing project engineers and superintendents, and conducting weekly site visits to document progress. Analyze new project requirements, assign resources, and track manpower needs while ensuring all critical milestones meet documented deadlines. Direct project teams through formal hand-offs, redirection sessions for performance issues, and internal walk-throughs to verify quality control and PPE compliance. Review purchase orders for pricing accuracy and prepare for monthly billing and weekly management meetings. Handle multiple small and changeout projects daily with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of previous experience with Project Management/Project engineer in the mechanical/plumbing industry
- Strong experience in the HVAC industry
- Handling multiple small and changeout projects daily
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient at Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Blue Beam
- Capable of reading blueprints and specifications
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Good understanding of project financials
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must possess the ability to multitask
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
