Job Summary
Manage and direct project engineers and superintendents while planning, executing, and finalizing HVAC projects for customers. Source and procure high-quality materials within budgetary constraints, ensuring timely delivery. Conduct weekly site visits to document progress, verify PPE usage, and enforce cleanliness standards. Analyze new project requirements, assign resources, and track manpower needs for current and backlog projects. Review purchase orders for pricing accuracy and audit material usage to prevent theft. Complete documentation, facilitate redirection sessions for performance issues, and ensure all change orders have proper signatures. Provide weekly status updates to management and attend monthly billing and weekly project management meetings. Handle multiple small and changeout projects daily with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of previous experience with Project Management/Project engineer in the mechanical/plumbing industry
- Strong experience in the HVAC industry
- Handling multiple small and changeout projects daily
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient at Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Blue Beam
- Capable of reading blueprints and specifications
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Good understanding of project financials
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must possess the ability to multitask
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
