Job Summary
Service Manager to lead PSI’s multi-trade service department (HVAC/plumbing/electrical) across Gypsum/Summit County. Responsibilities include coaching technicians through training and ride-alongs; tracking and analyzing departmental KPIs to boost performance and profitability; recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding technicians; managing payroll, scheduling, and on-call rotations; coordinating with Dispatch and warehouse teams on parts, warranties, and stock; conducting weekly team meetings and ongoing training focused on technical skills, sales performance, and customer service excellence. The role requires hands-on leadership, accountability for team results, and collaboration across dispatch, CSRs, and the General Manager to meet customer satisfaction, revenue, and efficiency goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the trades industry (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical preferred)
- 2+ years of experience managing technicians or field teams
- Proven experience analyzing and managing KPIs and department performance metrics
- Prior field experience as a technician or installer
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- A valid driver’s license
