Job Summary
HVAC Service Manager leads a high-performing team of technicians to deliver exceptional service, overseeing scheduling, training, safety, budget management, and customer relations. Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, conducting team meetings, recruiting and onboarding, optimizing daily service schedules, ensuring timely service calls, enforcing safety protocols, managing client relationships, tracking expenses and revenue, driving process improvements, and implementing advanced HVAC technologies. Requires 5+ years in HVAC with 2+ years supervisory, strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license; background checks and fitness Lift test are required. Location: Reno, NV; on-site field work with no explicit remote arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical HVAC training preferred
- Minimum 5 years HVAC experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proven knowledge of HVAC systems, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Background check, drug screen, physical, and lift test required (lift up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
