Job Summary
HVAC Service Manager to oversee the Service Team in the Chicagoland area, leading technicians responsible for repairing and maintaining HVAC systems in industrial and commercial buildings. Serve as a senior company representative, working with customers, vendors, and suppliers to advise on KPIs and build out processes. Collaborate with Business Development to develop growth strategies for the service business; respond to customer inquiries for HVAC service opportunities and technical assistance; provide cost estimates and proposals for service projects; manage commercial arrangements with clients (MSAs, purchase orders, PO updates); assign technicians and maintain the schedule; communicate scope of work and technical/commercial requirements to service technicians. Nursing facilities experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years HVAC management experience
- leading a team of field service techs
- strong understanding of HVAC systems
- ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and control circuits
- excellent leadership, customer service and general sales skills
