Job Summary
Service Sales Manager leads Field Service Techs and blends technical HVAC service expertise with a consultative sales approach. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment; identifying opportunities to recommend and sell new systems or upgrades; presenting financing options, warranties, and maintenance plans; providing post-sales customer support; managing sales channels and key customer relationships to meet sales targets; traveling to client locations within the territory (including cold-calls); establishing objectives, directing transitions and technical documentation, and guiding subordinates to align with company goals; strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and technical writing skills; advanced knowledge of HVAC products and controls; and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with HVAC degree or certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years HVAC experience, manufacturing or service
- 5-10 years in a leadership position
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred
- HVAC degree or certification
- People Management: Yes
