Job Summary
Direct daily operations of the HVAC Division by generating sales leads, scheduling technicians, and managing the service fleet. Supervise and coach field personnel, review work quality against safety standards, and establish training programs for latest service techniques. Develop budgets, monitor cash flow through invoice reviews, and ensure all company policies are followed. Recruit technicians to meet workload demands and coordinate OEM training while maintaining supplier relationships. Work with other departmental managers to meet company goals, requiring occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Five years HVAC Management related experience
- Exhibit an in-depth understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes and an ability to use resources at hand to find solutions
- Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
- Strong computer skills
- Possess a strong personal desire for improvement; and the desire to motivate HVAC technicians to be better tomorrow than they are today
- Have a professional appearance; a top performer and strong closer who can instill pride of workmanship in himself and in others
- Valid driver's license
- Ability and willingness to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays as required
