Job Summary
Direct daily operations of the HVAC Division by generating sales leads, developing maintenance agreements, and creating job estimates. Schedule, direct, and provide technical support for HVAC technicians to meet service demands and customer expectations. Recruit and train technicians to meet workload demands, supervise their performance, and review work to ensure quality meets established standards and safety requirements. Establish and maintain a regular training program, conduct meetings, and manage the fleet maintenance program. Develop and monitor budgets, goals, and objectives to ensure departmental profitability, while reviewing work orders and invoices for accuracy. Specify parts ordering to ensure work deadlines are met and ensure all company policies are followed. Work with other departmental managers to meet company goals.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Five years HVAC Management related experience
- Exhibit an in-depth understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes and an ability to use resources at hand to find solutions
- Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
- Strong computer skills
- Possess a strong personal desire for improvement; and the desire to motivate HVAC technicians to be better tomorrow than they are today
- Have a professional appearance; a top performer and strong closer who can instill pride of workmanship in himself and in others
- Valid driver's license
- Ability and willingness to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays as required
