Job Summary
HVAC Service Journeyperson will service commercial, industrial, and institutional sites, managing primary service accounts, executing contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, and service requests; provide labor and material upgrade quotes; diagnose, repair, and service equipment per blueprints/engineering specs; maintain customer relationships and safety standards; be on-call, available for overtime and weekends, and potentially overnight stays as part of a 24/7 service operation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices, adherence to safety, and ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues are required.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC Journeyperson status
- Member in good standing of Local Union 516 or willing to join
- Valid driver’s license
- Licenses to work with refrigerants, natural gas and electrical
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers (smartphone, iPad)
- Adherence to company safety program
- Good verbal and written communication
- On-call nights and weekends on a rotating basis
