Job Summary
HVAC Service Journeyperson role in Whitby, ON focusing on HVAC service work for ICI environments. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional service with clear verbal communication and detailed written reporting; operating and maintaining refrigeration and A/C systems; working with chillers (asset); complying with safety and licensing requirements (313A Refrigeration & A/C Systems Mechanic license, GT1 Gas Technician license, Ozone Depletion Prevention); providing on-site service with strong customer interaction, mechanical/electrical aptitude, and readiness to work on call shifts. Required Qualifications
- Related Pre-Apprenticeship training
- 313A Refrigeration and A/C Systems Mechanic licence required
- GT1 Gas Technician license required
- Ozone Depletion Prevention certification
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience as a Journeyperson/ Apprentice with service experience in Industrial, Commercial & Institutional (ICI) environments
- Experience with chillers considered an asset
- Valid Ontario Driver’s licence and insurable on our fleet policy
- Ability to obtain a clean security clearance check
- Ability to work on call shifts is required
