Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems including chillers, rooftop units, cooling towers, boilers, and related controls. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, system start-ups, commissioning, and performance testing. Install replacement parts such as motors, compressors, and belts while utilizing building automation systems to optimize performance. Respond promptly to emergency service calls, maintain detailed service records, and communicate findings to customers. Uphold all company safety policies and OSHA standards during field work. Requires EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification, valid driver's license, and 3+ years of hands-on experience. Hourly rate $35–$45.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, controls, and equipment troubleshooting
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Strong written and verbal communication
- High school diploma or equivalent
