Job Summary
Outside HVAC sales specialist focused on growing Kelso Industries' commercial service and project business. The role is field-based and hunter-focused, requiring proactive outreach, strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, and the ability to close with facility and operations leaders. Responsibilities include prospecting and winning new business via in-person visits and referrals, performing on-site assessments, presenting professional proposals and contracts, coordinating with operations and estimating teams, maintaining a robust pipeline, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate creates opportunities through cold outreach, speaks confidently with decision-makers, and leverages CRM tools to manage relationships and forecast growth.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC or mechanical sales experience (required)
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and services
- Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business
- Comfortable with cold outreach and face-to-face selling
- Skilled in consultative selling, negotiation, and objection handling
- Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
