Job Summary
Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, ductwork, thermostats, grilles, and piping in residential homes following manufacturer specifications, industry codes, and company requirements. Maintain quality and safety standards on all installations while communicating project details with other personnel. Prepare operational reports, update job-related knowledge, and use hand and power tools to execute tasks within the company's standard timeframe. Operate a company vehicle and possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report. Complete assigned tasks efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience as an AC Retail Installer installing duct or equipment without assistance in residential homes
- Must be able to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs. at times
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, and safe installation of new and replacement parts
- Must be self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability
- Must possess hand tools and power tools to execute job duties
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods
- Physical dexterity
- Must be willing to operate a company vehicle
