Job Summary
Perform thorough and accurate HVAC inspections, execute all repairs and replacements to applicable codes, and facilitate parts orders to ensure daily service preparedness. Submit purchase orders to dispatch, communicate effectively with customers regarding concerns, and maintain a courteous demeanor throughout interactions. Train, coach, and mentor apprentices while troubleshooting refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on residential equipment. Requires EPA certification, 3–5 years of HVAC industry experience, and a valid driver's license. NATE certification and HVAC diploma preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry.
- Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
- Able to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
- EPA Certified.
- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- NATE Certification preferred.
- HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
