Job Summary
The HVAC Residential Equipment Installation Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper operation and performance of heating and air conditioning systems in a residential setting. This role includes responsibilities such as installing and repairing heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, coordinating with management for timely work order completion, managing repair costs, and maintaining tools and inventory. Successful candidates will possess strong knowledge in HVAC systems, be able to work independently, and communicate effectively with customers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Desired Qualifications
- General knowledge of electrical wiring of Furnaces, Boilers and Air-Conditioning systems
- Ability to fabricate miscellaneous sheet-metal transitions
- Ability to remove Domestic Hot Water Heaters, Furnaces, Coils, Condensers and Boilers with minimal damage
- Ability to perform a complete installation of Domestic Hot Water Heaters, Furnaces, Coils, Condensers and Boilers
- Ability to perform part replacement installations
- Ability to install/repair gas piping, water piping, near boiler piping and the sweating of copper piping
- General knowledge and understanding on the sequence of operation regarding Domestic Hot Water heaters, Furnaces, Coils, Condensers and Boilers to perform routine maintenance
