Job Summary
Maintain and service refrigeration equipment (walk-in freezers, refrigerators, coolers), dishwashers, water heaters, steam kettles, ovens, gas valves, pilot lights, thermocouples, heating and refrigerating units on food carts, fans, and electrical cords; install/relocate Food Services equipment; may lead others, requisition materials, track time/materials, and perform general maintenance across the district; must read schematics/blueprints, follow safety procedures, and lift heavy objects; requires HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license, and 2+ years of experience; physical ability to lift 75-100 lbs and work nights/weekends/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC/Refrigeration or maintenance
- HVAC certification required
- Valid driver’s license
