HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

Maintenance Technician for Wendy's stores focusing on refrigeration and Food Service equipment maintenance. Responsibilities include servicing and maintaining refrigeration equipment (walk-in freezers, refrigerators, coolers), dishwashers, water heaters, steam kettles, cookers, mixers, ovens, gas valves, pilot lights, thermocouples, heating and refrigerating units on food carts, and related equipment. May lead others, requisition materials, keep records, and perform general maintenance tasks across the district. Requires knowledge of electrical and plumbing methods, kitchen appliance repair, motors, pumps, compressors, schematics/blueprints, safety practices, and the ability to read and interpret instructions. Must lift heavy objects, use hand and power tools, and work with basic arithmetic; able to establish cooperative working relationships. HVAC certification and a valid driver’s license are required. Schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
