Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems while performing preventative maintenance and responding to customer service calls. Communicate professionally with clients, adhere to EPA Section 608, OSHA, and all applicable regulations, and maintain required licenses. Work overtime and occasional weekends as needed to meet short-notice service demands. The role requires a current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License, EPA 608 Universal Certification, and a clean driving record. Candidates must possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently. This position supports commercial customers throughout Western and Central Massachusetts with company-provided tools, vehicle, and gas card.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License
- EPA 608 Universal Certification
- Previous commercial HVAC experience
- Clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to respond to service needs on short notice
- The ability to walk, stand, climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in a variety of commercial environments
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, 51–100 lbs. occasionally, and heavier items on rare occasions
- Work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
- Respond to service needs on short notice when required
