Job Summary
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical and mechanical issues, perform system testing and calibration, and maintain records of all activities. Collaborate with senior technicians on complex jobs and provide guidance to junior staff. Comply with safety protocols, EPA guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Requires 3-5 years of HVAC/R experience, EPA license, and 50% travel availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of HVAC/R experience
- Universal EPA license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to handle stress and pressure responding to emergency & urgent situations
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and meters
- Understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to bend

- Ability to work in cooler/Freezer (cold temperatures)
- Available to travel 50%
- M-F 8 AM to 4:30 PM schedule
- 40 hours per week minimum
- On-call availability

Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a formal HVAC/R training program
- 5+ years of HVAC/R experience
- State Journeyman license
- Experience in business management or related areas
