Job Summary
Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components, while performing maintenance and emergency service as needed. Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads and maintain the company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards. Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery, while identifying additional service opportunities and sharing them with clients. Requires EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and ability to work at heights up to 32 feet. Minimum compensation is $28.00/Hr, with a maximum of $45.00/Hr.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician
- May require a Journeyman's License in some states
- May require state specific licenses
- EPA certification
- Valid driver's license
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans
- Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed
- Must be able to safely work at heights using ladders up to 28–32 feet
- Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks
- Must maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day
- Must use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously
- Must operate work-related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers
- Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed
- Required to occasionally work in an office environment
- Required to follow all applicable safety procedures
