Job Summary
Repair, maintain, replace, and retrofit all types of HVAC and refrigeration equipment for commercial systems including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers. Diagnose system malfunctions, troubleshoot building HVAC control systems, and perform wiring checkout and programming sequence verification. Interpret HVAC and electrical schematics to ensure proper installation and service in occupied spaces and construction sites. Work independently while assisting in the training of other technicians and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed HVAC/R Technician
- 1-3 years in HVAC technology, troubleshooting, system controls and repairs
- Experience reading and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- EPA Universal refrigerant certification
- Knowledge of safety practices
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Building Automation System and Chiller repair/cooling towers and troubleshooting experience
