Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance on controls, pumps, heating, ventilation, and related equipment. Diagnose causes of problems and failures in commercial heating/air conditioning systems for repair or replacement. Test and calibrate electronic HVAC and building environmental controls to ensure proper function. Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including those outside regular business hours. Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and replacements on equipment while utilizing the CMMS work order system. This full-time, first-shift role at a commercial location requires current HVAC and EPA licensing, five years of commercial HVAC/R experience, and a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to complete required safety classes
- Personal hand tools
- Current HVAC and EPA License
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen before employment
