HVAC/R Service Technician Experienced Journeyman

Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on split systems, rooftop units, and water source heat pumps, while diagnosing and repairing air-cooled and water-cooled chillers. Drive to jobsites in the greater Atlanta area using a provided company vehicle to execute repairs, inspections, and installations for commercial and industrial customers. Collaborate with Journeymen, apprentices, project managers, and dispatchers to ensure safe service delivery. Maintain professional behavior and exhibit a desire for continuous learning in a steady work environment. Full-time schedule includes Monday through Friday standby duties with frequent overtime and irregular hours based on customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- Completed a union Apprentice School and/or a 5-year combination of Journeyman-level experience
- Steady work history with 5+ years in the HVAC/R commercial and industrial service business
- Earned EPA Universal License
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Current driver's license
- Impeccable driving record
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Possess the desire for continuous learning
- Commercial and/or Industrial experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate team members
- STAR certification
- Daily travel to greater Atlanta, GA area service locations
- Standby duties
- Overtime
- Irregular hours
